sandstone building with real wood burner as central heating that heats radiators.Not heated automatically.high ceilings and stylish decor.The flat is in the centre of Killin village,close to all shops,restaurants and pubs.the Park,Loch Tay,the Falls of Dochart are all within walking distance.Fishing opportunities can be arranged.Killin offers many outdoor opportunities,Ben Lawers is close by and boating/kayaking on Loch Tay is available.Live music is common locally and can be arranged for you. The space The flat offers a brand new fitted kitchen, lounge with projector Sky TV, internet, Sonos sound system, two bedrooms one double room with plenty of storage and room and one with a bunk bed which involves climbing a few pieces of wood to get to the top one . I am 6ft 7 and I stay in it . If you cannot climb a very short way then this bunk is not for you so please don’t complain when you stay in it .it’s a bunk bed .. the flat also has a shower room, toilet and storage. The MacLaren hall is close by should you be attending a function and my place is directly above the old co-op and next door to the post office.parking is in the driveway immediately left hand side of the bagpiper statue. Go through the green door and up the stairs to the top on the right hand side . You will then see the relative information on the door. Enjoy Guest access There is parking for two cars in a private driveway to the left of the Postoffice and left of the piper statue and right of closed shop. Please be considerate and leave space for other people to pass and park .Also on street parking. The flat is accessed by a central shared stairwell and therefore unsuitable for disabled access. Property then is Accessible by key safe directly at the top of the stairs on the right hand side outside the door Other things to note I am a musician and play the the bagpipes and many other instruments and could arrange entertainment with the band Killin Thyme if you wish, at additional cost. I have a folding dining table behind the kitchen door with 4 chairs .Also the water for the two sinks is heated by the fire and by an emershian heater which takes about 1hr . Checked yesterday and fully functional.Not that you need hot water in them as there is a dishwasher and an electric shower. There is also a washing machine but this is really for washing the linen and not for the guest to use , so please don’t complain when you find no washing powder or dryer. The radiators are heated by the Woodburner and the wood burner only so please do not mess with the thermostats as this will do nothing other than ruin them and make them leak. The bigger the fire you have, the more the heat comes out of them. You must put the switch on the wall .don’t worry it’s all explained in the house manual . Thank you for coming and enjoy your stay.
