Hazeldene Farm

Hazeldene Farm is an old farm house cottage situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Callestick. We take dogs too! Callestick is not only a beautiful rural village but also a great central location in Cornwall, in close proximity to a wonderful selection of beaches, country walks and the city of Truro is only 6 miles away (15mins drive). The space Hazeldene Farm is a 3 bedroom cottage. It has been in the Trenerry family for over 100 years. It was the Farm house and my childhood home until my parents built a new house nearer our lambing sheds just 2mins up the road. The cottage comprises of a new kitchen and upgraded bathroom, dinning room complete with a Rayburn and a cosy lounge with wood burner. Additionally there is a large secure garden perfect for dogs and children. There is plenty of character with wooden beams in the dinning room and lounge. The walls are rustic complete with lumps and bumps (classic cottage), no perfect lines here I’m afraid. All the bedrooms and kitchen have been fitted with USB sockets. Although the cottage has had extensive renovations i.e new kitchen, upgraded bathroom, freshly painted walls etc and is fully functioning there will be little bits and bobs we would like to continue to improve over the course of time. Including all the ‘fluffy’ soft furnishings etc. So please bare with us if it’s not all sparkling and new just yet! We look forward to welcoming you 😊 Other things to note As mentioned we do own a farm and have horses ourselves, so more than happy to accommodate 4 hooved friends too! We have plenty of good hacking, you can hack to Perranporth beach from ours. Hire the local XC course at Chiverton which is a 10min drive away and there is also indoor & outdoor schools available at Colraine Equestrian Centre literally 5min hack from the cottage.
