From here you can easily reach Bern, the Bernese Oberland, Lucerne with Lake Lucerne, the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, Lake Geneva and the Jura region. The space Location & Getting Here 2 free parking spaces are available directly in front of the entrance. Zollbrück train station is just 300 metres away, with direct connections to Bern and Thun in the Bernese Oberland (no transfers needed). The Apartment The apartment is on the ground floor of a single-family home and is accessible at street level — there is only one small step between the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom features a double bed (160 cm wide / medium-firm mattress) and is situated between the living room and the bathroom. The bed can be raised on request. For a 3rd and 4th guest, the sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofa bed — please note, however, that this bed is only 140 cm wide and a little narrow for two people. Need a bedside cot or fold-up bed for a toddler? Please let us know in advance. With four adults, the apartment and the living room table will feel a little cosy. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults + children under 24 months. Unfortunately, the apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users (doorway widths between the living room and bedroom and to the bathroom). The Village & Surroundings The village has everything for daily needs: several restaurants, two bakeries, a bar, a butcher's shop, as well as a Jakob-Markt, a VOI (Migros) and a Landi. Hiking trails lead in all directions — one starts right behind the house. The rolling hills of the Emmental are also a paradise for cyclists. Special offer for blind guests Remo is a trained blind jogging guide and offers several accompanied training sessions per week — included in the rental price. Guests with disabilities are especially welcome. We look forward to your visit — a warm welcome awaits you! Guest access You will be given your individual door code shortly before check-in. You can charge your electric car at the private e-charging station (Smartfox Pro-Charger, 11 kW, approx. 10 kW/hour, 50 Rp./kW). Please inform us in advance so that you can get access. Other things to note NEW: Professional Wi-Fi infrastructure with ceiling-mounted access points and direct LAN cabling. The internet experience is well above the standard for private accommodations. Laundry & Towels: Behind the curtain in the bedroom you will find a foldable drying rack. Please do not leave towels damp, as this can cause them to smell musty. If you need fresh towels, feel free to let us know at any time – we wash them together to make the most of a full load. Please understand that the laundry room in the basement (washing machine and tumble dryer) is no longer freely accessible due to repeated damage caused by improper use. Simply speak to us and we will do your laundry (one laundry cycle is included per 4 days of stay).
