Rustico on an idyllic forest clearing

Casa Berlinda, The detached rustic south-facing on a large forest and meadow property ensures comfort and well-being through the charming combination of rustic elements with modern comforts (all rooms have underfloor heating, shower bath and kitchen). The house is very quiet and you can reach it in about 7 minutes' walk uphill from the private parking lot or on foot from the public parking lot in Canedo in about 15 minutes on a flat path. There is no direct car access. The space The approximately 100-year-old former stable made of natural stones was converted into a comfortable vacation home of high quality and style. The simple aesthetics of the building elements and furniture, mainly made of native chestnut wood, blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Due to the successful architecture, a lot of daylight falls into the rooms. On the first floor, there is an entrance area, kitchenette, bathroom and the bright living room with dining table and sitting area. The space-saving staircase leads to the spacious bedroom with beautiful views of nature and a small bedroom with access to the upper terrace. The fireplace in the living room and the fireplace on the meadow (forest fire level must be observed!) allow cozy hours in every season. The central location offers both beautiful hikes in the beautiful landscape and excursions to the nearby cities. Guest access The entire house is at guests' disposal. The large lawn invites you to play or relax and the wooden bathtub invites you to cool off. The fireplace may be used with collected, dry wood from the forest for barbecuing and enjoyment. LOCAL FOREST FIRE WARNINGS MUST BE OBSERVED! Precise instruction and agreement are required to use the fireplace. The technical room (including washer and dryer) is not part of the rental property. Use is restricted Other things to note Terry towels are not provided. Two kitchen towels are included. Kitchen waste (compost) can be disposed of on the west side of the house. If possible, cover with foliage or something. The waste must be disposed of in the yellow waste bag in the corresponding containers (e.g. containers in Borla or in front of Medeglia). Use of the fireplace is only by prior arrangement. Basic fee for the fireplace is CHF 20. Firewood (birch wood only) costs an additional CHF 20 per box. No other wood may be used! Maximum 3 boxes per KW. Firewood for the outdoor fireplace can be collected in the forest. Please do not use birch wood in the boxes (it is only offered for indoor use). It is urgent/mandatory to observe the local forest fire level!! The costs must be paid in cash before departure and deposited with the key on the dining table. Payment is also possible via Twint.
