Farm Stay - The Dairy Parlour - stylish cottage

The 'Dairy Parlour' at South Barlogan Farm is a conversion of the original milking parlour. Stylishly decorated with stunning views over the rolling countryside. Set in the middle of the farm, you can’t help but notice the passing horses, alpacas, & chickens! Two bedrooms, beautiful bathroom & open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. Compact, cosy & welcoming. Situated on a rural farm, we are still only 1.5 miles to the popular villages of Kilmacolm & Bridge of Weir. With Cafes & restaurants. The space Couples and family friendly barn conversion, stylishly converted with all mod cons. The open plan living space and bedroom arrangements sleeps four people, accommodating a wide range of guests from couples, families and groups of friends. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge that sleeps two if required. Set on one level and lovely and bright and airy. Outside you will find a lovely sitting area, with table & chairs and a wooden picnic table. There is an undercover play area with a ping pong table, climbing frame, swing, slide and seesaw for children. Ideal for those not so nice days. For those guests with an appetite for an active break, the country parks and estates of Finlaystone, Castle Semple, Ingliston and Glennifer are close by and ideal locations. The Knapps Loch is one mile away from the farm and offers wonderful walks and scenery. 15mins to Glasgow Airport, 25mins to Loch Lomond, 20mins to Glasgow city. 7miles to Lochwinnoch/Castle Semple water sports & 5miles to Muirshiel Country Park. Surrounded by open fields and close to cycle paths & lovely walks. 3min drive to Knapps Loch. The villages of Bridge of Weir & Kilmacolm are 1 mile away with many restaurants. Children can get the opportunity to feed the chickens, meet the cats, dogs, ponies and Alpacas. Special occasions can be catered for, if you would like flowers, champagne or wine, balloons, birthday cake, hampers etc please let us know in advance and we can organise this for you. Guest access Outside seating area for guests with a fire pit and BBQ Swing set for children. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and not on sofas or beds. Other things to note The farm track can be a little bumpy .. please drive slowly especially if you have a low slung sports car!
