Close to Kolad and Kundalika River passing near the house, one can enjoy views of the river & the farm, a natural pool at the backside, a perfect wooded retreat. The space Every morning, the massive gates of the Bhira Dam are opened, turning the relatively calm Kundalika River into a gushing body of water. Rafting over this gushing river is truly a thrilling experience. During the summer season, the landscape of Kolad is dry and brown, but the river banks are always lush green. During the monsoon season, the landscape turns radiant green which contrasts dramatically with the dark grey skies. And during the winter season, you wake up to misty mornings, and end the day with cold nights. We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, we provide: - Generator, AC, Wi-Fi - Geysers, towels, toiletries - Medical kit - Secured parking space for up to 8 cars This is a pet-friendly property. The Space: BEDROOMS - There are 2 spacious bedrooms have attached bathrooms. - AC, Wi-Fi and views are offered in all rooms. - Both rooms offer an attached patio with direct access to the lawn. - Both rooms has an attached private balcony overlooking the river. BATHROOMS - There are 3 attached bathrooms in the treehouse. - All attached bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries. COMMON AREAS - The dining room is on the ground floor in a different structure. - The dining area provides comfortable seating for up to 20 people and is equipped with Wi-Fi. - There is a lush lawn next to the path leading up to the Treehouse. Guests can lounge on the grass and enjoy the fresh breeze. Premises is more than 10 acres. KITCHEN - Guests do not have access to the kitchen. - It's a restaurant kitchen equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, water purifier, crockery and cutlery. FOOD - All veg and non-veg meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 900/1700 per person, per day. - Barbecue meals are available at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per person, per meal. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. Guest access It’s a gated property with so many amenities which guests can explore freely around. There are swings and rope activities for kids and adults. It’s a river touching property safe for swim with/without life jackets. Bicycles are also available to paddle around. Two dams and many waterfalls nearby worth visit. Rafting/Kayaking available to book through us. Other things to note Add-on Services - An additional pet fee of Rs. 1499 per pet, per day will be charged. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - In case of a power outage, the 40 KVA generator can support all the appliances for up to 24 hours. - The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property. - Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time. - Mobile networks such as Jio work fairly well here. - Guests are advised to remain cautious, given the presence of insects around, during the monsoon season. - Owing to monsoons, the road conditions leading up to the treehouse may be poor. - Waterfall mainly in monsoon till Oct. PET POLICY -Pets are welcome at this property. However, as a standard pet policy, we allow pets at an additional charge. - Please clean up after your pets, both in the treehouse and outside in the lawn/garden area. - Please carry your pet’s favourite blanket, as the towels/blankets at the treehouse will not be accessible to them. - Guests are advised to groom their pets, prior to arrival, especially if they are prone to shedding, as pet hair can be difficult to remove.
