Arakari is a cabin with a room on the third floor overlooking the bay and garden. It is made of wood, with windows, surrounded by tropical rainforest. It is located in a small nature reserve a 5-minute walk from the main pier. We offer excursions, water activities (snorkeling, kayaking and bodyboarding) and Caribbean dining experiences. The room has details in a window and the water pressure is low during the dry season. Everything else is a natural connection The space The space is an ecolodge, with original and secondary forest. The feeling of the room on the third floor is like a tree house, ten meters above ground level, ideal for bird watching. On the ground you can see how large blue crabs coexist. Squirrels, hawks, and Caribbean eagles inhabit the property's trees. Also visiting are Mico monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, woodpeckers, iguanas, tiles, bull blood, chau chau, and at night, zarigueyas, raccoons, and lone cats. There is abundant vegetation so the stay is very cool. Guest access The property's botanical garden, outdoor shower, hammock and dining area, and a small natural jacuzzi that descends from the mountain and is accessed by walking through the forest surrounding the cabin Other things to note In the summer months of March and April, the drought can cause problems related to water pressure on the second floor, so you have to turn on a pump to have enough water in the shower and sink. The rest of the year there is enough pressure to reach the 15 meters high, which the room has. However, there are limitations with the public electricity service, so the water pump depends on it for its operation. The wifi is satellite and has a medium to low signal (depending on the weather conditions). We have noticed that some devices have a greater chance of connecting, some do not, we believe it depends on the brand. In our case they work perfectly. As is logical in the jungle, many unforeseen events occur, we are frequently without a signal and if that is the case, the guest must arrive at the cabin on their own following the instructions in the ad.
