A self contained private 3 bedroom cottage, set amongst 77 acres of ancient old red gums, nearby vineyards and historic barn / stables. The cottage is set on the estate 500m from one of SA's most significant Georgian manors, 'Martinsell', built in 1901. The cottage is in a very peaceful country location with the closest neighbour being a kilometre away. Shower or bath in our soft rainwater provided to the cottage, whilst the outside taps are supplied with spring water. No wi fi available Horses are welcome with secure yards and plenty of parking for horse floats. Daily permits are available nearby for horse riding in the neighbouring forests. Car enthusiasts are also extremely welcome with safe and secure space for cars and trailers. Mountain bikers or road cyclists are well catered for with plenty of secure space for bikes, and great roads - the famous Menglers Hill is just over an hour's ride away with a choice of sealed or gravel roads. Mountain bike trails abound in Mt Crawford Forest, right at our doorstep. Guest access Guests have free access over some of the property, but we ask that guests respect our privacy as we respect theirs. As we often have friendly roaming livestock we ask that gates be closed on entry or exit. Other things to note For longer stays cleaning and linen service is available.
