This is a private bedroom in a home with a private entrance located in N. Corvallis. You are 10 minutes from Oregon State 's campus and stadium, w/o the noise and traffic. This family neighborhood is quiet, safe and 5 minutes from groceries, coffee, shopping, and is on the bus line and minutes from several local parks with hiking and sightseeing. Note that this room is one of two bedrooms available. Shared shower is across the home, the semi-private bath just steps away from the private hall. This bedroom is a fully refinished room in a private home that was previously rented full time to a student and is now available for short term rental. It is bright and quiet, in a wing of the house that has a private entrance. There is a room next door that can be rented in conjunction if there are two parties travelling together. A third room is available upon request. Please note that this room is one of two bedrooms available; there is a possibility of another guest in this space. The shared full bathroom is on the opposite side of the home from the bedroom. The semi-private half bathroom is just a few steps away from the bedrooms, through a door that accesses the shared spaces. The kitchen is fully stocked and newly remodeled, and accessible. We provide fresh eggs, cereal, oats, fruit and other breakfast items for you. Chickens and ducks are on the property, along with our dog Ellie. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet, as it's imperative to introduce them properly. At any given time, there may be areas of the home under construction or being upgraded; please inquire at the time of booking so we can make sure to set appropriate expectations. Guests have access to both bathrooms *(shares full and semi-private half bath), full kitchen, laundry room, living room and dining space as well as a spacious yard and garden. The master suite is off limits to all guests at all times, as is the downstairs of the home due to a rented apartment. Other areas of the house are accessible, including an outdoor patio, fire pit, gardens and inflatable pool (seasonally). We are as available as you want us to be between 8 am and 9 pm! If you'd like friends to adventure with, we're always happy to join in when we can. Or, if you prefer a friendly hello and space/privacy, that's ok with us too. The Labrador is less conscientious of personal space ;-) This neighborhood is residential, extremely safe, with low crime and little traffic noise during the summer and holiday breaks. A park with excellent hikes and views is 1 mile from the door and a great half day adventure. Other hikes are an easy drive and offer stunning views of the Willamette Valley. There is a bus line on our street with occasional access to Albany, Philomath and downtown Corvallis. Driveway parking is accessible and available at all times for up to two vehicles. Our home is a fixer-upper, so I will provide updated and current pictures as often as possible and they are also available upon request.
