The Hygge House - Great views & Cozy place

The Hygge House is a new cabin concept focused on offering spacious yet cozy environments in all seasons, with all the hotel-like conditions that a cabin can offer like personal bathrooms for each individual room and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing any meal. You can enjoy the outdoors and get some sunshine on the deck (which offers a great view of Cluj Napoca from 30km aways that can be truly stunning in the evening!) as well as all the hills and forests outside. The space So you might have asked yourself what is The Hygge House? It's a mountain cabin located in Plopi near Valea Ierii, the location offers multiple unique views of the two valleys (you can see the village on the side in a valley and Cluj Napoca 30-40 km away on the other side) which we found in pretty bad shape in 2019 and we gave it a new feel with a modern design with Danish and Scandinavian influences whiles always keeping the HYGGE concept in mind. In short, we wanted to create a cozy clean modern space that fits the needs and wants of any group looking for a relaxing experience in the mountain or looking to enjoy a big party with a lot of friends. What can you expect to find here? 8 rooms with individual bathrooms (walk-in shower), the total capacity of 20-24 persons Living room (180 square meters): fireplace & longe area, eating area and gaming area (board games/poker) Event room (200 square meters): only contains a bar, good for large events. Fully equipped kitchen: stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge Garden area: 1500 enclosed square meters total, 50 square meters deck with sofas and dining area, grill, high capacity cauldron (60L), big wooden hot-tub (2.5 meter diameter). One final note: The entire place is kid and pet friendly! Guest access All open rooms are accessible to guests, the only exceptions are technical spaces or areas that are not yet complete which have their doors locked. All outside areas are fully accessible except for a small fenced portion which is closed off and hidden from sight. Other things to note The local community harvest mushrooms and forest fruit that grow in the forests as well as farming their own, so there are a lot of options to buy local fresh products in the surrounding area.
