Seaside Cottage next to St Andrews/beach/golf

Located in the beautiful, historical coastal village of Kingsbarns. 6 miles from St Andrews so ideally situated for golfers, walkers, cyclists, swimmers, wildlife & bird watching and anyone looking to explore Scotland from a beautiful, tranquil base. We have secure outhouses for bikes and golf equipment and private parking. Wi Fi and other conveniences are standard. A Wild Scottish Sauna is a short walk from the cottage on the beach… come try wild water swimming 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️⛳️🌊🐚🦭🦞🌾⛵️ The space The cottage is ideally located for travel within the East Neuk of Fife. Kingsbarns is nestled between St Andrews (6 miles away) and Crail (4 miles away). It is only a 5 minute walk from the beach where walkers can join the Fife Coastal Path and a 5 minute walk to the Kingsbarns Golf Links - a worldwide Top 100 ranked course with picturesque North Sea views. There are lots of interesting places to visit - Cambo House & Estate; Kingsbarns Distillery; many picturesque villages/harbours including Crail and Anstruther; boat trips to The May Island (Isle of May - one of Scotland's National Nature Reserves); the Secret Bunker; National Trust properties and St Andrews - the home of golf! This holiday accommodation would suit golfers (secure storage area is available for golf clubs), walkers, bird watchers, cyclists and those looking to relax away from modern day pressures. You can even treat yourself at the local spa in the Fairmont Hotel! Kingsbarns Inn (300m away) serves delicious homemade food and has a selection of fine ales and spirits. Further afield, St Andrews and Anstruther both boast world champion Fish and Chip shops, though we prefer the nearby Crail Fish Bar who's take away food is to die for, and best eaten sitting on Crail harbour wall or Kingsbarns beach. The cottage has just been fully renovated (2025). It has two bright bedrooms with 1 King-size bed in the master bedroom + 2 comfortable single beds in the other. It has one modern bathroom with a 'power shower' and a modern kitchen. The house also benefits from a lovely living area with log stove. From here there is access to the conservatory which has a dining table and chairs - ideal for a bright breakfast, afternoon tea or an evening meal. This looks out onto a secluded private garden ❤️ Broadband is standard and most mobile phone carriers have good coverage. (This only happened after the world class golf course next door appeared.....hmmmmm🤔) Guest access There is an outdoor seating area for eating/drinking, relaxing and listening to birdsongs! There is one off-street parking space to the rear of the property with additional on-street parking also available. The closest large supermarket is in St Andrews but local shopping is available in Crail with a butcher, several pubs and a Fish and Chip shop. Other things to note This is a quiet, peaceful location. If you are from the city don't be surprised to sleep in. There is nothing to wake you up bar the anticipation of the beautiful East Neuk and its surroundings.
