Nanaimo is centrally located, and the closest island city to Vancouver. Less than 2 hours to: Tofino, Victoria, Mount Washington, Cowichan Bay, Cumberland and more! There are many great outdoor activities in every direction. Great space if you're coming to Nanaimo for work or conferences downtown. The place is cozy, yet bright and airy. It has been thoughtfully furnished with as much vintage, or handmade items as I can find. Brand new bathroom with radiant floor heating. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds. Fully renovated. I obsessively designed every aspect of the place. We’ve partnered with Saltspring Soapworks to bring you lovely natural bath products. In the kitchen you will find Ghost Roasted Coffee, beer from White Sails Brewing, and some nice local loose leaf tea. I have tenants in the lower suite. Please note: washer dryer access are available upon request for stays of 1 week+, as they are located in a separate building on the property. Please be aware there is a high transient population in downtown. Parking for single car, additional street parking has 2 hour limit. Very accessible with local buses. Taxi from the ferry is about $10-15. The parking spot for Airbnb guests is located on the front right side of the house. Please be cautious when pulling in and out, as it is quite a steep hill.
