Description
Come and relax amongst the beautiful flowers in our meadow. Our 5m bell tents are as comfy as camping gets, with a full size double bed, carpeted floor and hand made rustic games table. As you unplug from the everyday, our focus is on quality not quantity. Only 2 tents share our 4 acre meadow You can spend long summer evenings star gazing around your own private fire pit or spend early mornings watching for the local wildlife from the comfort of your bed The space The tent itself is a 5m, Oxford Canvas, Bell tent. It is spacious and can easily be stood up in (at it's tallest point it's 3m high!) . Inside, you'll find a full size, double bed with a comfy duvet and pillows. The floor is carpeted and we've added some chairs so you can sit and have a drink or play games on our hand-made, rustic games table. As the tents themselves are off-grid, lighting comes from some battery powered fairy lights and some battery lanterns (don't worry, for those who like to stay connected, there are secure facilities to charge phones etc in the kitchenette). The tent has it's own fire pit which also features a BBQ grill so you can either while away time watching natures T.V or cook up a storm! We supply you with a bag of logs and some kindling and a few fire lighters to get you going. If you do manage to burn through it all, wood and charcoal are available to purchase. The kitchen also has a two ring hob and mini oven with utensils so you can prepare food even if the weather takes a turn. Our neighbour is an award winning butcher, for an added fee, we will happily take the stress out of your meal times and provide you with a custom breakfast or BBQ hamper that we can deliver straight to your tent. Guest access The tent is situated in our own 4 acre wild flower meadow that you are very welcome to enjoy. It looks fantastic across the spring and summer and you can spot wild orchids, cowslips, ox eye daisies and tufted vetch (and too many others to mention). It's great for wildlife spotting (on the right day) and we get plenty of songbirds visiting the garden. You will also have access to an indoor bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as an indoor kitchenette (these are shared with the one other tent we have on the site) There is plenty of private parking near to the tents Other things to note We are ideally suited for exploring the surrounding Dale's and villages. Dovedale, Tissington, Illam and Asbourne are all within a short distance. The Tissington Trail runs almost across our back garden and the high peak trail is walkable too
