Okereru - Relax & Recharge

This is indeed the 'place of the Kereru'. Enjoy the fabulous vista from your private sunny deck watching the swooping Kereru birds. Be lulled to sleep by the gurgling stream nearby. The space Our guest suite has two rooms within the house with its own private entrance. It has a fabulous private big deck looking out over the valley surrounded in a verdant garden. The decor is an eclectic mix of the hosts artwork and artefacts picked up on their travels. It's quite the holiday atmosphere. While there isn't actually a kitchen, in the kitchenette you could still prepare simple food, microwave and use the BBQ. There is a fridge, a jug and a toaster. We have a coffee machine, coffee and a selection of teas. Children - we are not set up for children as there is no guard around the deck with a small drop below. We also don’t have a separate bed with a mattress protector. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around our property and look at our flower farm and the great views. There is parking for cars and easy boat parking could be made available. Other things to note There are no shops in Wainui so you either have to stock up before you come or eat out. In Duvauchelle, at the head of the harbour there is a pub and a small store. Most people go round to Akaroa 30mins, where there is a supermarket, butcher and loads of cafes and restaurants.
