Welcome to Ty Bae (Bay House) 25 Summercliffe Chalet Park, Caswell Bay. Swansea SA3 3BT Visit us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Gower Coast in comfort. Just a few minutes walk from the glorious Caswell Bay with it's kiosks, cafes and facilities such as a seating area, toilets, dog washing tap, surfing lessons for both able bodied and disabled visitors. The space Chalet 25 Ty Bae (Bay House) offers compact, spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation on a designated chalet park with an outdoor sitting area and your own private parking alongside. Located just a few hundred yards from superb Caswell Bay and just 2 miles from Mumbles. The price quoted includes all bedding, a towel bale per person, tea towel and bath mat. Guest access Living Area The chalet has been refurbished over Winter, with improved insulation, rewiring and new flooring. The living area comprises a fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, kettle and refrigerator with small freezer compartment. Fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. A tea towel is provided plus a wash cloth. Warm water supplied to the sink. The lounge has two comfortable easy chairs with a footstool plus a 3 seat settee which converts to a bed settee (small double) to sleep an extra person. (Guests asked to bring their own bedding for the bed settee). There is a wall mounted 32" TV with in-built DVD player. The dining table can extend to seat six. Electric fires. The WiFi has recently been upgraded to provide an excellent service so the children can bring their games to play, reliable use for computers and mobile phones. Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms, each with two single beds. Each bedroom has a sturdy chest of drawers, 2 touch lights with charging port. a chair plus a small wardrobe, equipped with coat hangers. A hairdryer and small selection of books. Bedding The following is provided: 4 Duvets with covers 2 pillows (with cases) per bed Mattress protectors Fitted sheets Lightweight blanket per bed. Bath and hand towels Please bring your own beach towels. Shower room/toilet A compact bathroom with a modern quality shower, toilet, heated towel rail and wash basin with sockets for electric toothbrushes and razors. Warm water to the basin and one or two toilet rolls are provided. Outside space The chalet is detached and sits in its own flat, grassed area with a small “sunset patio” to the side. Patio furniture is provided - benches & plastic chairs. Perfect for that gin and tonic at the end of a hot summer's day. Other things to note Please note that we don't have any mobility equipment such as grab rails or seats in the shower. The internal doorways prevent wheelchairs being used inside the chalet. If you need these aids please contact us to discuss your requirements. Our aim is for our guests to have a safe, comfortable, stress free holiday. If you or one of the guests is vulnerable, disabled or very elderly, please be aware that we don't meet and greet and may not be on site to offer assistance during your stay. So again, please contact us for a chat. Pets One well behaved dog per booking is welcome during low and mid periods but regrettably we cannot invite dogs to stay during July and August. Registered guide dogs excepted. Please observe the following requests when booking with a dog: - No dogs in the bedrooms or on the beds, chairs or settee at any time. - Please bring all your dog’s equipment – bedding, towels, food/water bowls etc. - Dogs must be kept on a lead within the chalet park and not cause noise nuisance to neighbours. - Fouling must be picked up immediately and disposed of carefully. - Dogs must not, under any circumstances, be left alone in the chalet at any time. A charge of £20 is made for visiting pets as extra cleaning is needed after a doggy visit.
