Houseboat in Amsterdam
Description
The character of this typical self catering B&B on this Houseboat rental is best described as cosy, quit and unique. The stairway gives way to the 30 sqm living/bedroom with a large double bed, comfortable sleeping couch and dining room. The space This is a unique studio in a real concrete ship that was built in WW2, 1943. These ships were made to supply the Allied Troops with ammunition, fuel and tanks. Now the ship has been completely renovated and is as cosy as can be, at just a few minutes distance from the city centre. Guest access The apartment is fully private, so you don't have to share any space with other guests. And although we live on the same boat, we guarantee that you most likely won't even notice that we're around. It's a very heavy concrete ship with solid walls, so basically like any other house on land. You have a private terrace in front of the forecastle, so you can enjoy sitting outside too. During your stay We're houseboaters ourselves and we love to share the passion for this special way of living. We're there for you! Other things to note * Please note that the stairs are a bit steeper than you may be used to. This won't be any problem for most guests, but if you have problems walking stairs, this might not be the place for you. * Smoking & drugs: To keep the space comfortable for everyone, our BnB is strictly non-smoking and drug-free. Cigarette smoking is allowed only outside on your private terrace. Drug use is not permitted anywhere on the property. * The toilet is connected to a pump that clogs when something other than toilet paper ends up in the toilet. The costs for repair are at the expense of the guest. * Our Dock outside is monitored with a camera. It only records who walks towards the boat, so your terrace and the inside of the apartment are not monitored. Registration Details 0363 26FB 9833 4F52 AD8C
