The apartment is located in a charming, authentic Italian village with cobbled alleys and stone houses, bordered by a nature reserve & just 10 mins drive to the lake town of Menaggio with excellent ferries to Varenna, Bellagio & Como. We are directly on the cycle path from Menaggio to Lake Lugano, surrounded by hiking trails and beaches. The apartment is newly renovated in an historical building, in a relaxed family setting. *The municipal holiday tax is euro 2 per person per night. The space Our house is an old “casa di corte” meaning it has a long narrow balcony overlooking a small shared courtyard in the historic centre. We run a small cycling business from the ground floor & neighbours also regularly cross the courtyard adding to the atmosphere of traditional village life. The spacious interior is newly renovated. Being an old building it is still possible to hear your neighbours at times. The apartment has some lovely vintage furniture and artwork combined with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini Lavazza coffee machine, microwave, stove and dishwasher. There is a large main bedroom. The entire building is a no smoking area - including the balcony. There are three public parking areas free of charge in short proximity of the apartment.
