Crosley North has is a 3 bedrooms, and 1 1/2 baths Full kitchen and living room. 1 king, 1 Queen, 2 bunk beds make this a great stay for a large family. This house is split into two units a three bedroom unit and a one bedroom unit. They are both have separate entrances. Rural area cabins are located on perimeter of an RV Park With Farms surrounding and Lake Chicot in front of property. The guests have access to Private boat Launch, fishing Pier, Fish cleaning station. We have an office open from 8-12 & 2-6 and call forwarding for after hour emergencies. This is is a rural area near farms and Lake Chicot. We do ask for 10 pm quite hours so all guests can enjoy a good night stay. We allow grilling in the grass area near cabins (please do not set grills on porches for obvious fire hazards) We do live in the Mississippi Delta. The Mississippi Delta has a very active ecosystem whose very heart depends on the mosquito as its basic food source. The mosquito's food source is you! Please know that while daytime hours they are mainly snoozing. The early morning and late evening bring mosquitos out; so we suggest limiting the amount of time you spend opening the doors in the twilight hours. DDT is amazingly effective at destroying the mosquito, but its use is banned in the US. During harvest and the first cold we will have to put out traps for things that would otherwise live outside. aka mouse Other unpleasant things you might encounter in the delta: Fire ants: they bite it hurts buffalo gnats- they bite it hurts snakes: rattlers, copperheads, water moccasins alligators wasp, hornets, bees spiders: brown recluse and black widow Japanese Beatles the forestry people found out they eat a bug that was destroying the forests, so they dropped them out of airplanes by the millions. Now each year they swarm and hatch out. They look like orange lady bugs. late summer early fall is the best time to come and collect all sorts of bugs for your child's science project Harvest time be warned: the farmers will spray a defoliant this causes the plants to lose all their leaves. Then they will harvest and burn their fields. august and September are not good times if you suffer from allergies.
