The Pastor's Art House

Our family is full of artists and we have a love for amazing and unique spaces! We moved to Maumee in 2016 and renovated a mid-century church into our home. The parsonage sits behind the now renovated church and has been transformed into an eclectic and creatively decorated space we now call “The Pastor’s Art House”. Filled with local artwork and decor, this home is sure to inspire and make you feel right at home. If you’re on vacation or simply looking for a little R&R, this home is for you! The space Our home is your home during your stay and if there is anything we can do to make your stay even better we are just a phone call away. We have remodeled this home from top to bottom and our goal has been to create the perfect space for you to relax and feel pampered.. Whether you are in town on business or visiting family or friends you need to feel completely at home. Our love of design and decorating shows in every room. Soft comfy towels, mattresses that insure a good night sleep, extra pillows and great bedding, great lighting, full length mirror and an office space for work related trips will help you feel right at home. We just replaced the pillows on each bed and added new down filled pillows and fresh comfy foam pillows to each bedroom. Two of each on both beds. This way if you like down pillows they are there and if you would rather have foam pillows you have that option as well. All pillows have pillow covers that are washed between each stay. We always strive to make our guests feel as if our home is their home away from home. If you ever need anything during your stay please do not hesitate to let us know through the Airbnb site. Our mattresses are extremely comfy and as a matter of fact we have the same mattress in our home. Beautiful hardwood floors run through most of this home and lend to its warm and well designed feeling. All of the decor is new and fun and functional as well. Our home is located in a nice established neighborhood and close to the Toledo Zoo, Downtown Toledo attractions such as the Huntington Center, Mud Hens Stadium, etc. Close to many restaurants and only a short walk away from Toozer's Ice Cream in the summer. There is also a nice deck to sit on during warm summer nights. Other things to note We are a family friendly home in a family friendly neighborhood and we want to make it perfectly clear that we will not allow "any" parties in our home. We know that most guests will respect this as this home is right in our back yard and we want to keep this home in really nice shape. We also respect our neighbors and want to make it perfectly clear that only registered guests will be allowed to stay. Any deviation from this will forfeit your deposit and we will ask you leave immediately. Anyone who wants a home away from home will appreciate the fact that we strive to create excellent relationships with our guests. Making sure that this home is taken care of is our way of letting you know that we want you to come back year after year. By being very upfront about our rules I know that those of you who want a family friendly home will appreciate all we are doing to make it that way.
