The White Oak Manor is a 1920’s home built by the first county extension agent in the Greek revival style that was so popular during the turn of the century. We are located in the Historic District of Jefferson, the Bed & Breakfast Capital of Texas. Come take a step back in time when life was not so fast-paced and hectic. Relax and “sit a spell” on our front porch and relish the peace and quiet where you’ll most likely see a family of squirrels jumping in the tree tops or the bright red cardinals flying about. The space The Veranda room is on the first floor at the back of the house and has plenty of windows which make it oh-so-light and airy, a perfect personal retreat for the time you’re here. Unwind in the cozy chair and catch up on the reading you’ve been meaning to do, or just relax with a glass of wine before crawling into the king-size bed and catching a movie for the evening on the TV. In the morning, have your morning cup of coffee on the covered back porch and listen the the world awakening with the sounds of birds and squirrels in the trees.
