Sheila’s Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom stone cottage set on a 25 acre small holding. The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, private American porch style seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating and dining area. The outdoor areas are secure and ideal for dogs. Maximum one dog allowed. Additional £20 cleaning fee. The space Sheila’s cottage is a self contained cottage next to the main farm house. The property is two story. The ground floor is open plan and comprises of a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area with a television. The upper level offers an en-suite and bedroom with a king sized bed. The en-suite has both bath and shower facilities. Stepping outside, you can relax in the American porch dining area or in the pretty courtyard. We have an identical cottage across the courtyard therefore this is a shared area. We have a barbecue which is available on request. You are also invited to share and explore the 25 acres of surrounding land which are home to the owners’ chickens, sheep and horses. We also have the beautiful pond which attracts a range of wildlife. It is a short walk from the cottage and is a lovely peaceful area to relax.
