La casetta di Gió

Completely renovated in respect of the Apulian architectural tradition, La Casetta di Gió is a small and charming 18-square-meter studio located at the foot of the majestic Bell Tower of the Co-Cathedral Basilica of Maria Santissima della Madia, in the heart of the historical center of Monopoli. Although it is a small studio, La Casetta di Gió is equipped with every comfort to make guests experience a relaxing stay without depriving themselves of daily comforts. The space Gió's cottage, born in July 2017, is arranged as follows: At the entrance immediately on your left is the bathroom consisting of sink, mirror, hairdryer, toilet, bidet shower and vacuum cleaner. The walls are entirely made of glass to allow for more brightness inside the bathroom. Kitchen is located in front of the entrance. It consists of a side niche that contains ceramic plates, glass glasses and cups, kettle and cutlery. The two electric stoves, sink, faucet, and Nespresso machine are installed on an old cabinet maker table as a complimentary to the old studio owner, the well-known “Mest Pepp” carpenter. Below the table of the carpenter is located on his left a dishwasher, in the part below the pot and on his right the washing machine and the refrigerator Smeg single-port from the '50s. A niche has been created on the kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, and Wi-Fi router. On the refrigerator, a TV has been placed on the wall that thanks to an adjustable arm can be used by both the kitchen and the bed. The sleeping area has a standard double bed, with a '50s sideboard and a closet built from a branch generously offered by the sea and found on one of the many monopoly beaches. Finally, the standard size shower room was built into a pretty niche on the right side of the entrance. The table and chairs are normally stored between the refrigerator and the table of the carpenter to allow their use both inside and in the small external property adorned with plants and ceramics of various backgrounds. An outdoor camera and a wrought-iron gate ensure the reliability of the studio. The air conditioning in the cottage is ensured by an air conditioner that produces hot and cold air. The environment described above is characterized by an entrance door with an electric window above that allow you to enjoy natural light, but above all they have glass, an absolutely soundproofed room and mosquito nets. Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Guest access In 18 square meters access to guests is definitely guaranteed everywhere. ;) Other things to note La Casetta di Gió is a studio apartment that, as the word itself indicates, consists of a single room of 18 meters, without doors that divide the sleeping area from that day. The only existing doors, made of glass, are those of the bathroom and shower. The bathroom and shower are equipped with vacuum cleaners so that the vapors do not remain inside the house and this also has a fan and air conditioner hot, cold and dehumidifier.
