Hotchkiss Room - 1795 Acorn Inn

The 1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast is a AAA Four Diamond lodging located just outside of Canandaigua that has been in operation for over two decades. The home was build in 1810 and has undergone several renovations while still maintaining the charm of this comfortable house. We are owner occupied and here to assist you if needed. Airbnb does not collected 10.5% combined sales and occupancy tax. The Innkeeper will collect taxes at time of check in. The space French doors open onto a private brick terrace with a plush wicker seating arrangement and a magnificent Japanese Maple. It is through this terrace that Hotchkiss guests have direct access to the Inn’s outdoor hot tub and gardens during warmer months. This downstairs room, freshly decorated in soft blues and browns, (photos to follow shortly) has a queen size, pencil-post bed with a partial canopy. A love seat and ottoman situated around a remote-controlled Vermont Castings fireplace provide a lovely view of the gardens. The Hotchkiss Room is uniquely situated next to a creek which provides the peaceful sound of flowing water, especially during the spring. The bathroom includes a private whirlpool tub for one, in combination with a shower and a window overlooking the creek below. Perfect for celebrating an anniversary or other special occasion, the Hotchkiss Room delivers comfortable elegance and romance in abundance. Guest access We have a public Gathering Room with fireplace. We serve a full, gourmet breakfast at 9:00 am in our Dining Room. And, our guests our welcome to stroll through out gardens, use the outdoor furniture and gazebo as well as enjoy our outdoor hot tub. During your stay We are owner occupied and here to assist. We are happy to check you in, show you around and assist with restaurants and things to do. We will also be preparing and serving your breakfast and sharing stories. The Innkeeper will contact guests after a reservation is made to ascertain any special needs and to confirm check in, special dietary needs, guest names, etc...
