More recreation to come...please give us your ideas. This 1950s log cabin-style home sits among redwoods on eight acres we call Ryder Rancheria. Fully stocked for your stay, this cabin has a gas fireplace that lights and have a flame up and down setting. We have games and puzzles, wifi, TVs in every room, a stereo system, lighting, a fully stocked kitchen, and outdoor games. Our rustic décor will remind you of home for the holidays with an American flare. Lots of detailed artist touches, without overcrowding the space. We welcome dogs but ask that you never leave them alone in the space and place sheets on furniture and bedding covers when allowing dogs on them. We have extra sheets and dog covers in drawers. Min split heating and AC unit in the main room, the remote is on the wall by the phone and kitchen bar. The remote for the gas fireplace is on the wall by the bedroom door. The instruction manual is left out by the welcome binder. The property is powered by a Generac generator when PGandE is out. We do not offer BBQ, but you are welcome to bring your own propane or electrical. No fire is allowed on the property. On the property are 4 unique experiences that are overnight stays. You are in the Ryder Rancheria Log Cabin. Down the right side driveway is the Ryder Rancheria Game Cabin and Ryder Rancheria Captain's Den and to the right of you is the Ryder Rancheria Royal Cottage. All a themed experience. Stay in all four and make sure to visit Spa Santangelo, your co-host, Melissa's business of 17 yrs. The hidden gem of the Santa Cruz Mountains winner of the best of in Santa Cruz. Guest can access the front yard for parking, deck and full house. The laundry room can be used, we also use it. Hiking from cabin is possible up hill, you may run into neighbors. Jon owner may be around from time to time. Melissa is the co-host and contact, if you have questions. She is there from time to time as well. Please no smoking or vaping inside cabin or on deck. You can smoke in the bbq area on the gravel. Please clean up after yourself. No incense at all! Please note you are in a small neighborhood. We ask that if you interact with neighbors that you treat them with respect. You may meet them on the road or walking around. There is a neighbor that let's his dog chase your car. Please be respectful at all times when visiting. If I get a call that says otherwise, you may be asked to leave with no refund. Thank you! Car charging station is located at Nob Hill Shopping center with about 15 charging units. Only about 5 minutes from Ryder Rancheria, we ask that you not charge vehicles at our property. Hiking; Henry Cowell state park, Loch Lomond (March to Oct), Fall Creek, Big Bison state park Local park; Sky Park with Tennis courts and dog park. The Guest agrees to follow the House Rules: •Age requirement. Rental to unaccompanied minors under the age of eighteen is prohibited. •Number of guests allowed: 3 people per hosted bedroom (children under 8 years old not counted toward maximum occupancy). •Number of vehicles. One car is allowed per hosted bedroom. Cars may be parked on site or in legal street parking close to the host property. •Noise limits: Comply with standards of Santa Cruz County Code 8.30. No use of equipment requiring more than standard household electrical current at 110 volts or activities that produce noise, dust, odor, or vibration detrimental to occupants of adjoining dwellings is allowed within the hosted rental room. •Food. No cooking shall be allowed in any guest room or in any bathroom. Food service, if provided, shall be limited to breakfast served to guests only, and shall be subject to applicable regulations of the Santa Cruz County Environmental Health department. •Pets (if allowed by the owner). Pets shall be secured on the property at all times. Continual nuisance barking by unattended pets is prohibited. •Events prohibited. No weddings, outdoor parties, or similar activities are authorized under a Hosted Rental Permit. •No illegal behavior or disturbances allowed. Fireworks are illegal in Santa Cruz County. •Trash management. Guests are responsible for taking out the trash and recycling from the home to the outside bins at the end of their stay. Trash and recycling pick-up day is Monday. Guests are responsible for taking the trash and recycling bins out to Fence by the laundry. •Emergency evacuation instructions. On the fridge in the kitchen. In the event of an emergency where evacuation is necessary, guest(s) shall gather Mission Springs. When safe, guests shall call Host as soon as possible. We are dog friendly but require a $25.00 per pet fee. Pay this fee at booking by using the resolution center and then the send money button. Please never leave dogs unattended in the cabin or yard. Use an extra sheet (in drawers) when allowing your dog up on our bedding or couch. Make sure to clean up after your pet. Over night guests over 4 persons are a $75.00 fee per guest. Please give us the correct number of people and pets in your reservation or you will need to pay these fees by using the resolution center and send money button. There is one blow up bed in the closets to use. We ask that you put it back as found. Bring your own blankets and pillows. We will provide extra sheets upon request.
