Historic downtown 1 bedrm. Treehouse
This completely separated apartment within a large historic home is very special. The entrance is up a spiral staircase that leads to an upper porch/verandah which is well appointed with hammock and comfortable outdoor furniture. It has a spacious tree house feel. The house is set way back from the road in the historic district giving it a private secluded feel, yet downtown. The apartment is completely closed off to the rest of the house and has seperate entrance, kitchen, bathroom etc. Outside there is a beautiful porch/verandah with hammock and out door furniture that looks out into several old growth trees. This porch would only be used by this apartment. The space is very comfortable and has a bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped but a bit small. In general, this apartment has a ton of character! We provide basics like coffee, tea, and snacks along with popular breakfast items. Although this is within a large house,it is a completely self contained separate apartment. The entrance is up spiral stairs and there is a huge porch/verandah with hammock and outdoor furniture that is completley for the use of this apartment. No one else will be using this outside space. Feel free to roam around the large yard which is nice in the spring and summer. We are usually available and love to say hello to our guests if the opportunity arises. Feel free to contact by phone or text if you have any questions or concerns. We do respect our guests privacy. Historic friendly neighborhood walkable to downtown. Ozark Natural Foods is a nice 5 to 6 block walk away. They have organic food, cafe/coffee bar and local brews on tap. From there you just have to cross college ave and you are in downtown Fayetteville. This apartment in the Fayetteville historic district is close down town and Dickson St. It is about a 15 min walk to most places downtown and a 20 -25 min walk to the U of A. If you have bicycles the Greenway trail system makes biking around town very pleasant. I just want to make sure to let you know that the only access to this apartment is via outdoor spiral stairs. They are stable and stylish but really not good for someone who has knee or stability issues.
