Sunny cottage in quiet waterside town of Rock Hall. Easy walk into downtown: grocery store, cafe, gift shop with beautiful housewares, gifts and jewelry, styling salon, quilt shop, ice cream shop, and local produce market. Gas fireplace, screened porch, stone patio, deck, several bicycles, tv for dvd's. Restaurants, crabs, Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge, and nearby Tolchester and downtown Chestertown. Public pool, small beach (& picnic gazebos), bike around town...come to relax year round! The space Come to our cozy (air conditioned) cottage to relax, enjoy the nearby beach on the Chesapeake Bay, take a sunset sail, bike, or hike at Eastern Neck. Take a nap on the screened porch or enjoy a cool drink and read a book in the landscaped, shady backyard on the stone patio. Lots to do...or do nothing at all! Perfect for your family, small groups (hiking, fishing, kayaking, beaching or biking), a ladies weekend, or just a couple looking for a peaceful get-away. Rock Hall is a year-round destination! On site parking for three vehicles in driveway. Additional parking available across the street at police station\library. Guest access Entire home, shed for bikes. Exception only: closets in bathroom and bedroom that house our personal items. Other things to note While some events, activities, and retailers are open seasonally, several retailers and restaurants are open year-round. Rock Hall is a lovely town in every season! Our home is fully air conditioned and heated. Gas fireplace also in living room. In summertime, feel free to water the flowers! Trash receptacles are in or in front of the yellow shed; trash removal is available at end of driveway very early on Monday mornings. We appreciate your putting your trash in the trash bin and place at the end of the driveway for 5 am trash collection on Monday mornings. Please also unplug air conditioners.
