Iris Cottage

Iris Cottage is an adorable character cottage with all the modern facilities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including ducted heating/cooling, 2 bathrooms, WIFI, Netflix and off-street parking. All entrances to the cottage have handrails and there is a ramp for wheelchair/walker access. Provisions for a light breakfast are included in your booking The space BEDROOMS Bedroom 1 includes a new queen bed, mattress, bedding and an electric blanket in winter. There is a wardrobe with hanging space and a mirror and a table for your belongings. Bedroom 2 includes a new queen bed, mattress, bedding, dresser and an electric blanket in winter. The built-in robe houses spare linen and there is hanging space behind the door. Bedroom 3 is small and includes a bunk bed, rocking chair and thoughtfully chosen toys and books for child guests. KITCHEN/DINING The kitchen is small and unrenovated (no dishwashers here) but fully equipped and fitted with all of the usual necessities, including oven, stovetop, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave. There is a large pantry and guests are welcome to use the basic food items and condiments provided. There is a large dining table that seats 6-8 when extended. LOUNGEROOM The lounge room has a comfortable lounge- the couch converts to sofa bed, tv with free netflix, magazines and information relating to the area. HEATING/COOLING Ducted heating and cooling will keep you comfortable during your stay. The control panel is located opposite the bathroom. As the ducted heating does not reach to the bunk room, an extra oil heater is provided in winter. BATHROOM The inside bathroom is newly renovated with a spacious shower, vanity, and toilet. Shampoo, soap and hairdryer are provided. OUTSIDE BATHROOM/LAUNDRY Just a few steps from the backdoor is the original bathroom. This building contains a shower, full-size bath, toilet, washing machine, a few daddy long legs and laundry sink. This is also where the iron, ironing board and high chair are located. PARKING There is room for 3 cars in the driveway and ample room on the street. Please do not park on the back lawn.
