Villa On The Park

Welcome to Villa on the Park, a tranquil retreat bordering Alexander Park and close to Otumutu Lagoon, a safe swimming area with picnic options under giant poplar trees. It is a little slice of Kiwi heaven to escape the hustle and bustle of life - a quiet, peaceful place to reconnect and relax after a day of sightseeing, long walks, or simply enjoying the immediate surrounds. The space Villa on the Park is a charming 1920’s character house on a full sized flat and private section surrounded by gracious gardens, planted with fruit trees and roses. It offers four bedrooms and one bathroom/ toilet as well as a second seperate toilet. All bedding linen and towels are supplied and of good quality. A wood burner and 2 air conditioners allow for both heating and cooling preferences. There is a modern fully equipped open plan kitchen, dinning and lounge area. A second living space features a Chesterfield sofa to relax in front of an open fire with a wine in the evenings: books, games, magazines and a flat screened TV. The bathroom features a claw foot tub to soak your cares away , also a separate shower and toilet (there is also a second toilet in the house). The sun- drenched deck is perfect for breakfast or a lunchtime barbecue. Villa on the Park boarders Alexander Park with access through a private gate. The Park is ideal for picnics, kicking round a ball or playing cricket if the mood strikes. Other things to note There is ample on-site parking to accommodate cars and a boat. the bed in the main bedroom is a Super- King that splits into two singles if you prefer that configuration, please advise prior to your arrival. At present there is no wifi. A Weber barbeque and gas are supplied There is ample wood for the two fires A range of quality teas and coffee is provided for your stay.
