Welcome to the upper level of a 1927 bungalow in a small Milwaukee neighborhood that is an intersection between all the places you want to be during your visit. This apartment prides itself on keeping it simple and providing what you need during those moments of relaxation in a world of distraction and chaos. The host also prides themselves on providing a clean and safe environment during your visit to Milwaukee. The space Guests will have the entire two-bedroom apartment to yourself. The apartment is currently furnished to meet essential needs. The apartment NOW FEATURES wi-fi and a Smart TV with Roku. There is also a coffee maker, fridge/freezer, induction plate and microwave for your convenience. There is NO central air conditioning, so a couple of fans will be provided during those few hot humid Wisconsin summer weeks. NOTE: It is CURRENTLY SUMMER in Wisconsin, which can be humid and hot. The host is very willing to offer any items you may need during your stay. Depending on the timing of your visit, the host may not be available to provide additional items due to being out of town. Guest access This second floor apartment is entirely for you. No Smoking indoors. There is a washer/dryer in the basement that is available for guests. The washer is coin operated and costs $1.50. All other items and spaces in the basement are considered private. Off-street parking is free and available. All guests will need to register their cars online when parking overnight in Milwaukee (unless you are only staying on Saturday night). For long-term guests (more than a week) the host will provide off-street parking options. Please stay off of the back balcony until the safety concerns have been addressed. Other things to note The house has all original built-in cabinets, windows, and doors so please use them with care. In particular, the windows are sash cord, so do not try to force them closed. If there is a window stuck, inform the host for assistance to avoid tearing the rope that holds open the windows. If you are interested in staying long term (more than a week) and the property is listed as unavailable, please send a message to the host to see if there may be availability. Most of the dates are blocked and will be updated frequently, however the listing may be available (even though it says unavailable). If there are any issues with the apartment, please contact the host immediately so that she can make improvements or call the necessary help to fix. There is no central air conditioning. A floor fan and two table fans will be provided during the summer. Wisconsin weather can change day by day, so please prepare and wear your linen during those hot summer nights. Please do not use the back balcony. The railings are not secure and they need to be repaired for safety reasons. You can use the front porch. Two camping chairs have been provided. Also, the dining room furniture can be used outdoors. Please bring all furniture back inside once you are done and lock all the doors when you leave the apartment.
