Large Family home overlooking Dolgellau

A big old listed house nestled in ancient woodlands, with fabulous views over town which is a 5 minute walk away. Perfect for a large family (like ours) or 2 families sharing; dogs are welcome. Bryn Bella is work in progress so not perfect but is functional and we love it that way; hopefully you will too. We don't do this professionally but are sharing our home - it isn't hotel style (or price) but is a fabulous base for enjoying everything outdoors that Eryri offers, many return again. The space A large listed house in process of being modernised. Recently refitted and well equipped kitchen and breakfast room, with 3 oven Aga. Large living / dining room on ground floor with huge inglenook fireplace. Downstairs toilet. Three double bedrooms on the first floor, and then we tend to put the kids on the top floor which has two further bedrooms , both with two single beds. Four of the bedrooms have been re-decorated in the last 2 years. Two bathrooms - one with electric shower has just been redone and one with a bath still to be renovated - price reflects bathroom updates still to be done. Great house for hide and seek! Worth noting - it can rain a bit in wales! While we don't have tend to have problems in summer, the house is listed so windows while recently refurbished are single glazed and will collect condensation on cold damp evenings Guest access You will have the house to yourself. I do however lock the downstairs front right room which contains my personal belongings but you won't miss the space! Sheds are also locked so I can secure tools. Other things to note House has a private drive which we have had 5 cars on without problem. The roads up to Bryn Bella are narrow and steep, but camper van sized vehicles make it up no problem. Supermarkets do deliver in their small trucks, so all doable with care.
