Idyllic Farm Holiday in the countryside

3 km east of Aakirkeby, you will find Høgegård, in beautiful nature with peaceful surroundings. We are a young couple who live on the farm and farm in our spare time, and are happy to tell you about the place. The apartment is located at one end of the farmhouse and is of an older date. There are newer beds, duvets and pillows in the apartment. There is a small kitchen overlooking the fields, with a dining room next to it. From the entrance, you will find the bathroom and the front of the apartment, in front of the rooms, there is a small TV room. The space WiFi is available in the apartment, as well as TV with Chromecast and DVD player. There are good shopping opportunities in Aakirkeby 3 km from here. On the farm you will find the dog Asta, cats some more cuddly than others, geese and ducks in the pond, sheep and goats, as well as cattle in the meadows. If you're lucky, you might also experience the deer and hares in the field just outside. The apartment has its own terrace with tables and chairs, the rest of the garden is a common area. By arrangement, there will be the opportunity to use the living room next door, where there is billiards, table tennis, and darts. There is no access to the surrounding buildings. Please bring your own bed linens and towels. We provide hand soap and toilet paper. Guest access In the courtyard, there is plenty of space to park, even if you come in several cars. From us, it is easiest to get around the island by car. But if you are happy to cycle, there are several pleasant trips around, e.g. there is not much more than 10 km to the beach of small cozy roads. Other things to note In the Almindingen forest, there are a lot of good mountain bike trails, ranging from experienced to beginner. From Høgegård, it is about 11 km up to Kongemindet, where many of the trails start. There will also be a brochure in the apartment about trails elsewhere on the island. When you return to the apartment, you can wash your bikes with a high-pressure cleaner.
