Spacious Family Retreat in Lakelands is a comfortable and spacious family friendly house located in the beautiful Lake Macquarie! The house is the ideal home away from home; a fully equipped house with ducted air con and gas heating It is a great home for couples, families and friends! Newcastle CBD is located within 15 mins drive- home to beautiful beaches, Newcastle Memorial walk, Fort Scratchley, Honeysuckle, Merewether and Newcastle Baths, the Bogey Hole, King Edward Park, the list goes on! The space Spacious family retreat is ideal for families and couples or as a weekend get away with friends. The house has 1 King room with an ensuite, 2 Queen bedrooms and a baby room/nursery set up with a large quality cot. Each bed is super comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep. The house can comfortably sleep 6 guests as well as infants and is set up as a family friendly home. Enjoy a coffee on the outdoor setting, or cook up a storm on the BBQ, guests can walk to the park 200m away and play on the newly renovated playground equipment, observe the ducks in Lakelands pond or play a game of tennis at the full sized courts. Spacious Lakelands Retreat has two lounge rooms to allow groups or families to spread out and enjoy their own space, a fully functional laundry with washing machine and dryer, a dining room, study desk and wifi. There are 3 TVs, one in each living room and one in the main bedroom that have Apple TV, chrome cast and firestick to easily access Netflix, Amazon prime, Stan and many more. Lakelands House is within a 5 minute drive of Warners Bay Esplanade- a strip of restaurants and cafe's that allow for a meal with a view of the Lake. **Please note that dogs are allowed on request but we ask that you let us know, keep them outside or away from carpeted areas and off the lounges and that you clean up after them. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house. Including BBQ, Kitchen, Laundry and Garage. The Kitchen is well equipped- including utensils, cookware, crockery, glassware, herbs and spices- everything you need for cooking. Our pantry is usually well stocked and guests are welcome to use the items in there. There is a beautiful enclosed backyard with a table and chairs- great for enjoying outdoor dinners in warmer weather. The backyard has a lemon, orange and lime tree which guests are welcome to enjoy when the seasons are right. Spacious family retreat is home to our family and we enjoy opening it up for other families to enjoy and take pride knowing you will feel right at home.
