The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs. The space Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the cabin. While there is no access to the private yard behind the cabin, the town is great for walking your dog! We ask that no cats visit the cabin as the owner is highly allergic to/asthmatic from cat dander. We offer free in-town, off-street parking for your convenience. We are also located about 7 miles from Whitetail Resort for skiing. We are located 10-30 minutes from 5 different golf courses. Whitetail's golf course is beautiful in the fall and spring and is a challenging and well-maintained course. There are several outstanding hikes nearby and Cowan's Gap State Park offers a lake for swimming in the summer. Guest access The cabin has a private entrance. You have use of the entire cabin. Other things to note You are within walking distance of 3 pubs, a great little coffee shop and historic Mercersburg Academy. The space is indoor only, but the town is great for exploring on walks, with or without a dog!
