Come stay at our family home set on 10 acres of farm in a quiet rural community. Enjoy a variety of friendly farm animals. You will have access to 2 private rooms-both with beautiful garden views and a stream boundary . We are 15 mins from the airport, an easy 20 mins drive to the city and just off the Northern motorway. Explore rural walks, the Waimakiriri river, beaches, local markets & nearby towns .We are always keen to meet you but if you prefer privacy- it is yours! The space Room one has a king bed , a dining table for 2-6, a couch and a small kitchenette with a sink and microwave cooking only. Doors open to a garden patio and this is your private entrance to both rooms. Room Two has a queen bed with ensuite shower and toilet and a walk in wardrobe. Views from bed are down the main garden towards the animals. The rooms are connected by a private hallway and a locked door to the main house. All beds have electric blankets and there is a heat pump which heats both rooms, and heat transfer system from the main house - so you will be cosy. This would be suitable for one or two couples or a family of 4 but we do have a Portacot for a baby or a mattress on the floor for an extra child. ( Total 5 ) You are free to wander the gardens, visit the animals, jump on the trampoline, enjoy the creek or sit in the sun on your patio. It is a beautiful relaxing spot and close to city activities if you want them. The kitchenette (not full kitchen) will be for microwaveable cooking of meals or drinks. Children need to be supervised due to the deep creek nearby. This is a great place for families. A baby high chair is also available. We may be able to do your washing of clothes for a separate fee or there is a local laundromat available a few kms away in Kaiapoi. Guest access Private access is from the back of the house and there is no access to the main house. During your stay We will try and welcome you on arrival. Usually some one will be here in the evenings . As your entrance is separate from the house you will be able to self check in. We have traveled a lot and we love meeting our visitors and offering assistance-including advice on New Zealand travel. Other things to note We have an outdoor undercover cooking area available which has gas rings and a BBQ for cooking if you need to cook on anything more than the microwave.
