Hello there and thank you for considering a stay at my peaceful, hillside getaway! You'll find that this home is conveniently located just seconds from Greek Peak Mountain Resort, 10-minutes away from downtown Cortland, and 25-minutes from downtown Ithaca. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding hills and two-acres of yard from the 360 sq. ft. back porch which runs the length of the home. The year-round hot tub, beautiful outdoor porch, and large firepit are all ready and waiting for you! The space "This home has been a dream of mine for a long time, and one that has had a whole lot of love and hard work poured into it. My priority when searching for a home was a beautiful setting - I wanted to go to bed at night to the sound of the forest and wake up to birds singing in the trees. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the house needed to have character built into its bones - a uniqueness deep down that any work redesigning could only help bring out, not create. In this home I found everything I wanted, and have worked long and hard to create a mid-century modern themed, rustic hillside retreat. The hope is that all of this hard work pays off when you smile with delight upon opening each door inside the home onto a uniquely designed space. Cheers." - Phil, 7/31/19 Set into the same forested hillside as the storied slopes of Greek Peak Mountain Resort, this home couldn't be closer to all of the adventure and excitement this full-season attraction has to offer. Skiing and snowboarding dominate the wintertime activities roster, but don't forget about the often underrated snowshoeing and cross-country skiing available as well. During the summer enjoy the idyllic sunny days hiking the trails, visiting the spa, or sitting on the white sand of Hope Lake Beach (a 2-minute drive away). If more adventurous fare is what you have in mind, the mountain biking trails, indoor waterpark and outdoor adventure center (which includes a mountain rollercoaster and high ropes course!) should satisfy even the most extreme adrenaline junky. Trax Pub & Grill and Carver's Steakhouse are two wonderful restaurants within a minute of the property if you are looking for a nice dinner/drink out. If it's proximity to Cortland (10 min), Ithaca (25 min), and even Syracuse (45 min) that you have in mind, you are only a short drive away. Guest access The whole enchilada!
