Description

In the heart of Ispica, nestled between the wonders of the Val di Noto and the golden beaches of the southeastern coast of Sicily, Elegant Loft was born, a refined and bright environment, in which the study-library corner, the masonry kitchen, the space dedicated to the living room and a refined canopy bed, embellished with white veils and placed next to a characteristic fireplace, are harmoniously inserted. The apartment is completed by an elegant and functional bathroom with attention to every detail. The space Welcome to the Elegant Loft Penthouse Crossing the threshold, you will be greeted by a refined, bright environment where every corner tells a story: The protagonist is the elegant wrought iron bed framed by a very light white veil canopy placed next to a romantic fireplace, beyond which, directly through one of the large windows, the view of the entire town opens, from which the bell towers and the elegant liberty of the Palazzo Bruno di Belmonte stand out. The living area with sofas and comfortable armchairs A refined desk with a study corner and a bookcase that invites you to relax and read The spacious walk-in closet will allow you to organize your belongings in style. An elegant and functional bathroom for total comfort during your stay, while outside the large panoramic balcony awaits you. Other things to note The penthouse is located in a particularly privileged position, on the southern slopes of the Iblei Mountains, from which it is possible to embrace, in a single glance, the Mediterranean and the Ionian Sea on the horizon. From here you can easily reach the architectural and landscape wonders that dot the Val di Noto, now declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site: From the lively Catania, the black pearl of the Mediterranean, where genius and creativity have been able to combine, in a very refined two-tone, the dark tones of the lava stone with the whiteness of the white one of Comiso, giving life to that unique flowered baroque. Nearby Syracuse, defined by ancient historians as "a city in no way inferior to Athens itself," will envelop you with the dazzling light reflected by the honey-colored stone, with which the architectural wonders that characterize it were made. Here, in the alleys of Ortigia, which is the oldest center, you can indulge in the thrill of walking among the more than 2700 years of history that surround you. From our penthouse, in just 15 minutes you can reach Noto, the "stone garden", capital of the Sicilian Baroque, with its city living room in which, a few steps from each other, monasteries, churches, noble palaces, dizzying staircases that lead the gaze to get lost in the baroque whims that, like stone lace, adorn the buildings...that the light of the sunset "ignites" with its bright apricot color. Equally close are the noble Modica, capital of the ancient County and home of the Nobel Prize winner Salvatore Quasimodo and...the famous chocolate! It will appear as a mantle of ancient houses lying on the slopes of two narrow valleys with a characteristic Y-shape, crossed by hundreds of alleys and stairs, like currents between the rock, pervaded by the sweet scent of jasmine. Here you will suddenly find yourself overwhelmed by the majesty and refinement of its matrices, San Giorgio and San Pietro and the timeless charm of the other hundred churches and noble palaces. Traveling a few more kilometers, Ragusa, the provincial capital, will appear to you like a nativity scene... Ibla will welcome you, peeking out after the last curve, and will immediately enchant you with the nobility of the Cathedral of San Giorgio, soaring among the roofs of the ancient houses. Silence, nature, art, history will have a lot to tell you. A little further south of Modica, a fifteen-minute drive from the penthouse, you can reach Scicli, now famous for being a privileged set of episodes of Inspector Montalbano. Here, strolling among the baroque masterpieces of Via Mormino Penna, or climbing through the alleys that lead to the ancient matrix of San Matteo, among dry stone walls and caper flowers, will be an emotion to be discovered. What can we say about the endless beaches of fine golden sand, the same ones on which Ulysses landed, our Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman, Spanish fathers...now a popular destination for our summers...
