Semi-detached granny flat on a quiet rural property with horses, kangaroos and various wild birds. Close to Mandurah and Rockingham (beaches) and Peel (wineries). We will provide you with the makings of a light breakfast including, if you like, eggs from our own free-range chickens. If you have your own horse(s), a walk-in-walk-out can be arranged during your stay. The space While we don't provide the full farm-stay experience (you won't be required to wake at dawn to milk the goats, muck out the horses or feed the chickens - in fact none of that will be necessary at any time :) ), many guests have commented that they have very much enjoyed the wide open spaces, large lawn for the kids to play on and the farm-stay like feel of the Stigtomta BnB experience. Please note that our horses have, for the most part, retired from racing and are now engaged in new careers. We do have additional mattresses that may be placed on the floor to expand the guest numbers out by two or three, so long as we don't have family and friends visiting us in the main house. Guest access If you'd like to meet the horses or the goats, that can be arranged, but please do not enter the horse areas (ie stables, hay barn, round yard, paddocks) unless you are also agisting or you have a host with you. These areas are gated for your protection as well as that of the horses. We will open the gate on arrival and provide a code during check-in. Please drive up to the right hand side of the house and park either in the last (4th) spot in the car port (where the steps are) or just beyond the car port, if you prefer. Other things to note Check in times may, on the rare occasion, be later on a weekday, after 4:00 or so, but we will let you know. We are quite flexible on weekends and public holidays - just needing an hour or so after any previous guests check out. We have six places to sleep comfortably. For people who are willing to accept less comfort, we do have a single trundle bed which we will set up only if needed. For one more additional guest, we can put in another mattress on the floor.
