Camp Run-a-Muk by the Lake

Nestled in the heart of NC foothills and formerly a fishing/ hunting camp, Camp Run-a-Muk is a wonderful multi-generational family vacation spot. This lakefront spacious home has 2 full kitchens, large game room, sunroom, covered deck, patio, 7-person hot tub and plenty of room to spread out (3 separate master suites). The property boasts over 400 ft of lake frontage with everything you would need for the perfect family vacation. Pricing based on large group gatherings not luxurious upgrades. The space Lake Hickory is about 16 miles long and all recreational watercraft are allowed on the lake. Floating dock with over 10' of water year round and a gradual slope off our sea wall that starts knee deep and gradually gets deeper for little ones that might not want to dive in. Our dock can accommodate 2 guest boats, and there is a public ramp within eye sight of our dock. Two marinas on the lake rent boats and watercraft. Guest access Camp Run-A-Muk is also conveniently located for day trips to Charlotte (1 hour), Asheviile (1 hour) and the Banner Elk/ Boone area (45 minutes). Other things to note Although we have listed this home as a lake camp, meaning that it is not a "resort" home, everything is well taken care of and the home is well equiped. Other amenities include 3 master bedrooms, including 2 on main level for older guests, free wifi, YoutubeTV, highchairs, pack n’ play, gas grill, ping pong, billiards, foosball, air hockey, kayaks, picnic tables, fire pit, basketball goal, plenty of parking, nearby public boat ramps and much more.
