Our 115 m2 air-conditioned cottage is ideally located in Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or, just minutes from Lyon by public transport (stop 1 min away). It is composed of a 45 m2 living room with an equipped kitchen (hob, microwave grill, fridge, dishwasher...), 3 bedrooms with TV, private bathroom. You access from the living room and bedrooms to a large terrace, a 15 x 4m outdoor salt pool, many sunbeds and armchairs available. The space In the heart of the Effet Lodge guest house with warm Scandinavian-inspired decoration, you have a separate entrance with a large living room-kitchen upstairs with everything you need (utensils, cutlery, pots, dishes, large fridge-freezer, large oven, microwave, filter coffee maker...) open to a large terrace with a charcoal barbecue. There are 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom, TV in each bedroom, a 7th bed is possible (real mattress), 1 baby bed is also available on request. The entire property has recently been air-conditioned (work in spring 2025) to guarantee you better comfort in summer. The garden brings together many local or tropical species conducive to relaxation and reverie. Lying in our sunbaths or swimming in our salt pool will allow you to relax after a good day walking the streets of Lyon! Badminton rackets and a Molky game will delight the most players😊. Free parking is available as well as plenty of nearby spaces. The house is also connected to the TCL network, a bus stop 150m to the Gare de Vaise metro in just 8 minutes. The ideal way to go to visit Lyon without being cluttered with the car. Limitrophe with Lyon, the city center is only 8 km away , it is also an ideal base from which to explore the capital of the Gauls, Beaujolais, the villages of Les Pierres Dorées and of course go eat at the Paul Bocuse restaurant which is only 5 km away. Our house is right next door and we are available for your stay near Lyon to take place in the best conditions (choice of restaurants, taxi reservation, ideas for walks in Lyon...) The swimming pool is heated by a heat pump powered by photovoltaic panels and usually rotates around 28 degrees in spring and fall and 32 in summer. Access is possible from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in summer or even more during a heat wave or particular constraint. Bombs are prohibited to maintain a satisfactory water level and an ok pH. In spring and autumn, the opening of the pool is possible only in case of good weather conditions (acceptable day and night temperature level) and on request to preserve its temperature (heat pump).
