Enjoy the tranquillity of this uniquely designed octagonal chalet, set high on Weedon Hill in a natural Australian bush setting. Inlet glimpses, sounds of the ocean, sunrises, abundant birdlife and native bush vistas from every window are but a few of the wonders you will experience. With large windows throughout your experience of the outdoors is intensified in this cosy wooden cottage with woodfire for extra warmth & coziness. Only 3km from town centre, however feels like you are miles away. The space On driving up to The Yurt you will be in awe of the property with its majestic karri trees, magnificent boulders & on arrival at the end of the drive, the quaintness of this rustic two storey octagonal dwelling. The Yurt is dog-friendly (by approval from Owners). Refer our pet policy below. On entering The Yurt from the lower front veranda, which is a great space for your favourite drink by the way, you reach the main living area with its high stunning circular ceiling incorporating a wooden kitchen, including modern appliances and wooden slab bench top & dining table (both made from wood on the property). Serene bush views from the kitchen window are a pure delight. A door leads to a separate train carriage shaped bathroom which includes a deep bath with bush views. The lounge area, also on the bottom level has a TV & DVD player (plus various DVDs) and a vert effective Woodfire. A split level air-conditioner is also installed for your comfort. Steep steps lead you to the upper level which is a spacious bedroom with large windows leading out to a veranda where you can experience nature at its best. The bedroom also has a lounge area to sit & read or enjoy your favourite drink whilst taking in the amazing views. Inlet glimpses can be viewed from your bed, the verandas, the upstairs & downstairs living areas. The downstairs wood fire with a flue that rises up into the bedroom makes this a very cozy, ideal romantic getaway. We are only 3kms from the town of Denmark & only a short 5 min drive to our local beach - Ocean Beach. Please note that due to steep stairs, shower in deep bath & uneven grounds outdoors, this property may not be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable. * Strictly No Puppies - dogs must be at least 2 years old & fully house trained. * Maximum of two dogs only. * You agree to be responsible for your dog/s during the period of your stay. * You will be responsible for the management of your pets waste. Where possible it is to be removed and disposed of in an appropriate manner. * Dogs with fleas are not welcome. Please ensure your dogs are treated if they are prone to fleas. * Dogs are not permitted to sit or sleep on any furniture or beds during your stay. * Please bring your clean dog sheets pets bedding, bowls etc. * DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE INSIDE AT ANY TIME. * Dogs are to be on a leash at all times when taken outside the accommodation.
