Large 3 bedroom, 2 story half house

The first floor of this home consists of a large living room, dining room, pantry, kitchen and open front porch; on the second is a bathroom and three bedrooms, each with queen-size beds, and the largest one with a second bed- a double/full-size- for additional guests. The space Apart from the house and open front porch, guests may use the shaded backyard, weather permitting! I am close by if needed, and have a helper who is available if I am not, but generally guests are on their own, and the 2 floors of the home that I have described are private. A small caretaker flat is below the house; if it is occupied during your stay, he or she comes and goes via a separate entrance and does not have access to your space. I love the proximity to the Genesee River Trail system for walking, biking and jogging. Guests appreciate the proximity to the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital, downtown Rochester, Interstate highways 390, 490 and 590 (all within 2 miles), and the Great Rochester International Airport (3 miles). The #19 Plymouth bus line passes directly in front of the house, and two bus stops in either direction are just a few doors away. The bus goes to the University of Rochester's River Campus (as does a free University bus with a stop 1/2 mile away) and Strong Memorial Hospital in one direction and the city's Corn Hill neighborhood and downtown Rochester and the Transit Center in the other direction. If one is arriving in Rochester by bus or train, the Transit Center is not far from those terminals. An airport pickup and drop off is often possible for $5 more if the drop-off time is not before 7am and the pickup is not after 10pm. Guest access Apart from the house and open front porch, guests may use the shaded backyard, weather permitting! There is no off-street parking provided, but there is ample, free on-street parking on both sides of the street at all times. Other things to note If you have any special needs, ask if we can meet them- iron & ironing board, a wok or food processor, extra pillows- if we have what you need, we'll provide it.
