Female 4 Bed Dormitory at Social SF Hostel

Our social and vibrant hostel in downtown SF is the place to stay! We invite travelers and adventurers of all ages, from all corners of the globe, to rest their heads at this historic hostel in the heart of San Francisco. We pride ourselves on creating a community vibe and a space that encourages guests to gather together, exchange travel stories, and get to know one another. The space Each room has two bunkbeds with two twin size mattresses in each, of which you are renting ONE mattress. Each bunk has a shelf with a fan, light, and charging port, as well as curtains for privacy. We provide a complimentary hair dryers and an iron at the front desk. There are five single occupancy bathrooms on each floor, each with complimentary essential oil organic lavender shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Towels are available to rent for $1 at the front desk. We also have a free sauna on the top floor! Our Grand Ballroom is the heart of the hostel where people play music, make friends and unforgettable memories, fall in love with the city and each other, and raise glasses in celebration. The ballroom, where musicians are always invited to play, has a pool table, ping pong table, digital arcade area, books, games, and complimentary coffee in the morning and tea throughout the day. We also have a new designated quiet "digital nomad" work space. We provide free wi-fi throughout the hostel. Just off of the ballroom we have a fully equipped kitchen that is open 24 hours a day for you to use. We provide a guest fridge for you to store food, liquor, whatever you want! Every morning in the ballroom we offer a free breakfast that consists of bagels, fresh fruit, organic oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee and tea. We invite guests to help cook, but of course you don’t have to cook to eat! After participating in our nightly activity, such as our famous Pub Crawl or Curry & Comedy, you can get comfortable in our funky dorm rooms or cozy private rooms. And if you have the time, hop on our “hostel on wheels” for a famous Green Tortoise Adventure Travel trip to Yosemite, Baja, Alaska and other US National Parks or enjoy a discount on a local tour! These are just a few of the reasons the Tortoise has become a legend. Guest access We have no elevator and the hostel is the top 3 floors of a 4 story building. We do expect you to carry most of your luggage to your room but some assistance can be provided Other things to note One thing to be aware of is that we are known as a very social hostel--it isn't unheard of for our guests to have loud parties in our ballroom. We would love to have you stay here, but we also understand that that environment isn't right for everyone.
