A modern getaway in the heart of the Pocono Mountains! The Rex Hotel is a 10 unit modern hotel right on the border of Promised Land State Park. Our 10 guest rooms range from a mix of queen and king size rooms, as well as cabins with connecting bunk rooms, all of which are outfitted with en-suite bathrooms and well-appointed workspaces. The space 175-square-foot with 1 queen bed. Living space includes kitchenette with bar seating, sofa and tv. Bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and custom crafted bath amenities. Sleeps 2. - 175 sq feet - 1 Queen Birch Living Organic Bed - Brooklinen Sheets, Comforters and Bath Towels - Kitchennette + Bar Seating - Joybird Living Space - Rain Shower - Solo Stove Fire Pit - Complimentary WiFi - Air Conditioning The hotel sits adjacent to Promised Land Sate Park with direct trailhead access to over 50 miles of hiking and trails, docks, a beach, fishing, canoe and kayak rentals, and waterfalls. Only a 15 min drive to Lake Wallenpaupack, and close to numerous quaint little towns, state forests, antique stores, local markets, and 15 min from Skytop for skiing and snow tubing. Guest access The Rex is an invisible service hotel. We recognize that much of the traditional hotel model is built on in-person traditions that simply aren’t needed when using today’s technology. Instead we strive to provide you with exceptional, responsive service while being invisible. This means you’ll access your room via a digital key, check in and check out on your phone, and be able to text us any questions or requests – receiving quick and friendly service from our responsive staff. After all, invisible service does not mean no service, instead, it allows you to focus on spending more time exploring the property and the bordering 3000 acres of wilderness. As our hotel guest, by booking your stay with us you are agreeing to abide by all of our terms, conditions, and procedures. They are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between The Rex and the guest. Below are our general Terms & Conditions. Our policies may change, so please check back often: Check-In Policy: The Rex has no on-site concierge, personnel or night staff. Prior to your arrival you will be provided with a 4 digit access code for your suite. Check-in: 3:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM Parking: One parking spot is included per booking. Due to the nature of the parking space, we cannot accommodate more than one vehicle per booking. Please contact The Rex directly for alternate parking arrangements if you will have more than one vehicle. Early Arrivals and Late Departures: If the guest checks out beyond 11 AM without prior approval, the guest will be subject to a $200 fee. Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM The Rex strictly enforce a 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM quiet hour. Please be respectful to those around you in this while enjoying your visit with us. Amplified sound is not allowed. This includes loud music, DJ’s or amplified voices. Any complaint made by another guest or neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fine between $500 to $2,000. Strictly Enforced - should guest violate this policy will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee. Hotel Rights: Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the hotel, The Rex reserves the right to request that the guest vacate their room without refund. Security Surveillance: For guest safety and security, The Rex has 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance in the courtyard and common areas. Special Requests: We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor, room location, extra towels, etc. prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. Accessibility: Due to the architecture of the land, The Rex is walk-up only. There is no elevator or handicap access. No Party Policy: The Rex enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests and property. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guest violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee. Photography: Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from The Rex. Any unauthorized use of images of The Rex or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000. Housekeeping: We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in and after check-out. We do not offer mid-stay housekeeping services. We may be able to offer mid stay housekeeping on a case by case basis for an additional charge. Please contact us if interested. 100% Smoke-Free: The Rex is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind.. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made from hotels guests will result in a fee of up to $1,000. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning. Please Note: The Rex is a Pet-Free Property We do not allow pets in any of our rooms or common areas. If a pet is found on the premises, a violation fee of up to $1,000 will be charged. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. Furniture and Room Furnishings: All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to it’s original placement prior to checking out. Items can not be removed or moved to another room. Violations will result in an additional fee.
