Located in the heart of the atypical hamlet of Fontainejean, the old house of the maréchal-ferrand (18th century), fully restored by an architect, can accommodate up to 12 people. The space The house, traditional from the outside, is located in a hamlet rich in its heritage (the ruins of the 12th century Cistercian abbey) and the 7 fountains that spring from it. Inside, it offers a very contemporary living space. The main room has a surface area of 60 m2 covered with antique parquet and period cement tiles. It includes a fully equipped open kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, wood stove, electric oven and all the necessary equipment) as well as a large living/dining room, with a height under the ridge of more than 5 m. The entire old frame, restored in solid oak, structures this large volume lit by a series of industrial chandeliers and old bedside lamps. This space opens on one side to the path, with an exceptional view of the stream, on the other to a partially covered patio. The ground floor continues with three double bedrooms (3 beds of 140 cm) and a bathroom covered with antique parquet, very bright, equipped with a large walk-in shower. Finally, under the staircase, the technical room includes a large refrigerator, washing machine and coat racks. The staircase is extended by an open mezzanine (including a foosball table) on the large main room and which gives access to a second bathroom with old parquet and bathtub. Finally, the floor continues with a large bedroom, ideal for children, including two 90 cm beds and two 140 cm beds as well as many games and toys. Windows and skylights allow the house to benefit from natural lighting offering, throughout the day, a very beautiful light. The garden, not adjoining but a few meters on the other side of the stream, offers beautiful fruit trees (apple, cherry, quince, hazel, fig, currant, etc.).
