Description

Graham Ordinary is a lodge built in the late 1700's that sits on 23 acres at 1,720ft on the south eastern slopes of Flat Top Mountain in Bedford, VA. The property shares a border with George Washington and Jefferson National Forest amidst ancient trees and boulders which provide a rustic, comfortable getaway. 1.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are many activities right out the front door - hiking, fishing, cycling, bird watching, wine tours and more. Local transient tax of $8.08 added. The space An Ordinary is an old English term for a rest stop for travelers. An Ordinary offered a room for the night, a stable for your horse and a warm meal. Guest access Have a drink at the bar, enjoy the private back porch overlooking the valley or go for a hike. Other things to note We have two suites in the lodge. You may experience other guests during your stay. All rooms have secure doors and windows with curtains on all windows. Looking for a tent or RV campsite with water and electricity? Appliances and breakfast items; The following items are included in the suite; Refrigerator and freezer, ice cube tray, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, wine opener, coffee mugs, stainless steel eating utensils and porcelain dishes. Complimentary breakfast items (All organic and/or local when available) include; eggs, butter, orange juice, apple juice, toaster pastries, breakfast bars, oatmeal, apples, bottled water, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, salt and pepper. The Meadery with associated Mead Hall (tasting room) is open to the public on weekend afternoons. Overnight guests can request Mead Hall hours outside of public hours. Prior coordination is required. We have a small Tavern menu and provide food during Meadery public hours. If you are arriving late during the week, you may coordinate to have food available for additional fees.
