The Artist Historic Hideaway

Built in the late 1800’s this one of a kind historic home is nestled in the quaint charming town of Forsyth, Georgia. Post Civil War architecture is still present throughout the home. During the summer months it is a delight to sip on fresh lemonade and watch Norfolk Southern railway short lines cruise by right outside the home. If you are looking for a trip to the past and a peace of mind from the hustle and bustle of life this is their perfect place for you, family or friends. The space Perched in an 1890s Victorian home we like to call The Ogletree Manor, the Hideaway is cozy and comfortable, with beautiful natural light, and a private living spaces tucked throughout the home. This room features a dual floor to ceiling window. The Master suite has a King Size Bed with comfy hotel quality linens to ensure a restful nights sleep. Air Conditioning window units are located in master suit for private temperature control . Located on the second floor of Ogletree Manor, you’re led to this retreat by the beautiful winding staircase. With that, It’s recommended that this room is not for those with mobility issues, though I would love to host otherwise. I also would like to mention from previous experiences that my house is in a diverse neighborhood of a diverse city and my guests as well as neighbors reflect that. It's one of my favorite parts of hosting! If you are uncomfortable with others who may be of different skin color or beliefs as you, I would not recommend my home. there is a 35.00 cleaning fee that will be applied During your stay We are always available to our guests but are happy to give you as much space as you need. There is almost always someone one in the area for whatever you may need during your stay and we use a professional cleaning service to make sure everything stays nice and tidy!
