Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land. The space If you feel like doing a barbecue or just chilling in front of a fire relaxing logs, kindling, fire lighters and matches are all there ready and waiting under the hut. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you should need plus a full sized fridge and induction hob, kettle, toaster and basics such salt/pepper/cooking oil. Tea/coffee/sugar. The double bed has plenty of storage room underneath to keep bags etc. out of the way. Bed linen and towels are provided The en suite shower room is equipped with shower, toilet and sink, together with a heated towel rail. When the weather starts getting chilly and the nights draw in there is an electric radiator for instant heat. Our land follows the estuary and has plenty of paths to explore and many outstanding views to discover. It is a perfect location for wildlife lovers, bird watchers, photographs of just escaping from it all!! Barmouth town is only 5 minutes drive away with its beautiful beaches! Other things to note Logs, kindling and everything you need for the fire pit/ BBQ are provided free. Tea coffee sugar cooking oil also provided.
