There are also lakes and hiking trails in the nearby Chaquamegon-Nicolet National Forest for more recreation. There is a fully functional kitchen. There is a grill and firepit available at the cabin. The cabin is equipped with Starlink Internet to help you stay connected and stream all of your favorites! Our cleaning fee is low and covers normal cleaning. It does not cover excessive food and debris on floors and surfaces, missing items, items moved through out the cabin, vomit, excessive messes in general, dirty dishes, etc. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee for any of the above. There are firewood bundles at the cabin with a cost of $5.00 per bundle (when available). Please contact us prior to your stay for firewood availability if you plan on using any. The kitchen is supplied with pots, pans, baking sheets, microwave, stove, refrigerator, paper toweling, napkins, a coffee bar with enough coffee for a few days, dishes, utensils, dish cloths and towels, salt, and pepper. The coffee bar has one electric drip coffee maker and one Keurig. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom is located off of the kitchen. It has a queen bed and a flat screen TV with a DVD player hooked up to it. The other bedroom is located off of the living room and has a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top. All beds are supplied with fresh linens, bedding, and pillows. There is a shelf in the bunk bedroom with board games. The living room has a flat screen TV, a Blu-ray/DVD player that you can stream through(no satellite or cable hooked up to the cabin'sTVs), VHS/DVD player, DVDs, VHS tapes, Starlink internet, a Bluetooth soundbar, and a cribbage board. The bathroom has a spacious shower and is supplied with towels, washcloths, soap, a bath mat, toilet paper, and a few extra essentials. *Eagle River, Wisconsin - 30 miles west of the cabin. *Iron River, Michigan - 12 miles north of the cabin. *Laona, Wisconsin - 30 miles southwest of the cabin. *Florence, Wisconsin - 20 miles east of the cabin. *Long Lake, Wisconsin - 5 miles south of the cabin. There are several places close by that offer food and/or drinks. *The Whitetail Inn (in Tipler) is one mile north serving food and drinks, and they also have gas available. *Knotheads bar(in Tipler) is within walking distance, serving drinks, frozen pizza, and snack items. *Sach's Rendezvous(Tipler) is 4.7 miles north, serving food, drinks, and a liquor store. *The town of Long Lake is located 5 miles south of the cabin. *Grandma Sally's Cafe(in Long Lake-really good breakfast and homemade cooking). *The Roadhouse 139(in Long Lake)great burgers, drinks, and other food items). *The Store (in Long Lake) is a general store and offers groceries, bait, and the essentials. *Long Lake(the lake in Long Lake)offers a public beach and boatlanding. *All of the above locations are accessible by the trail system. *The nearest supermarket (larger grocery store) is located in Iron River, Michigan - 12 miles north of the cabin. *Exploreflorencecounty is a great site to look up events happening in the area. *Florence County Wisconsin waterfalls are nearby! Beautiful! *Lasalle Falls *Meyers Falls *Big Bull Falls *Washburn Falls *The trail system is accessible from the cabin, so you don't have to trailer any machines other than to the cabin itself. *The Blue Ox Trail Riders do an excellent job on the trails. www.blueoxtrailriders is their website. There is a trail map on their site. *There are numerous lakes nearby for fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming. *You can look up Chaquamegon-Nicolet National Forest and find a multitude of recreational/outdoor activities. The Lauterman Trail is great for bicycling, fishing, hiking, geocaching, hunting, water activities, mushing/ski joining, snowmobiling, XC skiing/snowshoeing, and ice fishing. *Iron River Michigan is twelve miles north and offers more stores, restaurants, and recreation. *Ski Brule Ski Resort in Iron River, Michigan, is located 12 miles north of the cabin. *Young's Golf Club is located in Iron River, Michigan.
