Beautifully decorated, comfortable, with all mod-cons: warm in winter, cool in summer, outdoor terrace. You will occupy two floors of a free-standing 3-story building (top floor separately occupied). Separate entrances offer you an independent, private space. A&L NOTE: details re: government requirements (supplying ID and paying tourist tax) in 'interaction with guests' section. The space First floor entry: via external stairs on left-hand-side of property. Enter into a fully equipped, modern kitchen with everything you need including basic condiments and cooking staples. Continue through to the open-plan living room with dining / sun room adjacent. Take in the beautiful view from the full-length window with a stunning view of the Lake Como and the towns of Cernobbio and Como. Watch the colours and light change with the weather and as day morphs into night. Continue through to the main bathroom adjacent to living room - full-size bath tub including shower, toilet, bidet, wash basin, window, storage space - all very spacious and modern. A stair case and small niche separates the master bedroom from the living area. Tastefully furnished with a very comfortable Queen-size bed, generously proportioned cupboards, window niche, balcony doors, and small dressing table. Level 1 has four sets of balcony doors - off the the master bedroom, living room and dining room - leading to a narrow terrace spanning two sides of the property. Retractable fly screens on 2 balcony doors (master bed & living room), and bedroom windows (both floors) allow a mountain breeze to flow through the house (although note that the house is naturally cool and comfortable during the hot Italian summer!) BBQ on patio outside kitchen. Ground floor - Descend via the architectural, modern, glass & iron spiral staircase. At the bottom of the stairs is the 2nd bathroom/laundry with shower, toilet, basin with storage drawers, washing machine and clothes dryer. On one side of the stairs you'll find the 2nd bedroom with two single beds plus one trundle; a generous wardrobe, small desk, and window niche. On the other side of the stairs is the 2nd living room (or 3rd bedroom) furnished with a modern (and very comfortable) sofa bed. Balcony doors lead from this room to the expansive ground-level terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs. You can walk back up the exterior stair case to the kitchen. Note: there is also a second external entry/front door: from ground floor. Note: the independent dwelling on level 3 has a separate entrance. Level 3 have access to the car space inside the gates. Como Avventuro parking is in the large space to the right of the front entry gate. Guest access **IMPORTANT TO NOTE** Tranquil surroundings and seclusion mean this property can be difficult to access via car. There is parking for 1 car (to the right of the entry gate) but it can be easier to park on via Della Liberta and walk to the property (approx 5 min walk). The property is not suitable for people with mobility challenges, **You need to meet the host and collect keys prior to going to the property so they can advise re driving and access ** Via Colonna is a narrow, uneven road with several very tight 'hairpin' turns - for local traffic only. You can drive back up via Colonna with a rear-wheel or 4-wheel drive (although note it is technically a 1-way street and you need to check there isn't any traffic coming down beforehand). If you have a very small car with front-wheel or 4wd you can depart by going further down the road but note that the tightest corner is at the bottom of the street. We have used a Volvo XC60 to drive up the road or a small Peugeot going down the road. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us. The top floor is separately owned and occupied - independent of Como Avventuro. The owners of the top floor have a separate entrance; their parking area is inside the gates of the property.
