Sunshine Yurt at Dartmoor Yurt Holidays

A traditional Mongolian yurt in its own private and secluded setting on Dartmoor, with your own rustic kitchen, compost toilet and wood fired shower. Far reaching rural views, a babbling stream, a swing, friendly horses and all day sunshine. Enjoy total privacy in an idyllic rural setting and the perfect opportunity to unwind, destress and get back to nature. The space Come and stay in a traditional Mongolian yurt with beautiful hand painted poles and door. The yurt is warm and cosy with rugs and lanterns and woodburner. There is a double bed, double futon and single futon. A few steps away is the fully equipped rustic kitchen and dining area. There is also a firepit for barbecuing or just sitting watching the flames! There is a compost toilet and a wood fired shower. There are also three very friendly horses next to the yurt (but separated by a fence!) Guest access You have your own private area right next to your yurt but you are also free to wander around our 26 acre farm, explore the woodland and say hello to the horses. You can also access open moorland directly from the top field and walk to the nearest tors and down to the river for wild swimming! Other things to note There is no electricity at the yurt. We provide candles for your lanterns and a rechargeable lantern. You will receive a complementary basket of wood for your woodburner and a starter stash of wood for your open fire and your wood-fired shower. If you require more wood we have bags of wood for sale at £10 per bag. We provide duvets and pillows but you will need to bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases and towels. Bed linen can be provided at an extra £7.50 per person. Please check with me in advance if you want to bring your dog and please be aware we have a very friendly unneutered male dog.
